Northern Kentucky Service Members, Veterans, and Families Suicide Prevention Coalition

Too many veterans survive the physical battles of wars abroad, but can't survive the emotional battles that they face when they come home. As a result, 22 veterans die by suicide every day. That's 660 veterans lost every month.

It's tragic. And it's totally preventable.

That is why this coalition was created -- to help service members, veterans, and their families. Each suicide impacts 135 people.

But we can't do it alone. It takes a community. Our goal is to provide service members, veterans, and their family members with the right tools and connect them to the right resources that they need to not just survive, but to thrive in their post-military lives.
